About Insane in the Rain
Insane in the Rain’s jackets are produced using a recycled plastic called PRET, or recycled polyethylene terephthalate. PRET is a strong and durable material that is typically used to create single-use plastic bottles.
Taking these plastic bottles and single use plastics, Insane in the Rain turn the material into fabric for their raincoats. This helps to reduce the amount of plastic waste that would otherwise head straight into landfill or our oceans.
The brand also avoids using any additional or newly-sourced plastic in the production of their coats - from manufacturing, shipping to distribution. They work with a team of happy, caring, responsible manufacturing partners who all share the same vision of a plastic free planet!
