Established in 2003 by jewellery designer Wendy Pickard-Young, Branch have since become world-leaders in wooden jewellery, becoming famed for mixing woods and other materials to create a stunning range of timeless, unique and original jewellery that is all ethically made.
All of Branch's stunning jewellery is hand-crafted in Indonesia, using traditional methods by local craftsmen. Their materials are all carefully selected, not only for quality but also with an eye to ethical sourcing and the welfare of the environment it has come from. Branch never use any form of chemicals on their wood - no varnish, polish or colour stain, ensuring their wood is completely natural with nothing but beeswax to condition it. Due to the unique nature of the grain in the wood, each individual piece has the feel of a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery – no two pieces are ever the same!

We're very excited to share Branch's brand new buffalo horn collection. Every item is handmade, FairTrade and low impact being an 100% bi-product.
So, why have Branch used Buffalo horn?
Buffaloes are widely used in South East Asia for farming. Hard-working and loyal creatures, buffalos are a big investment for the farmer and they are therefore treated like a member the family.
Once the much-loved buffalo has reached old age and can no longer farm, the farmer will sell it to buy a new one. The sold buffalo will continue to sustain the livelihoods of the local region - it is used for meat, its hide is used for leather and its bones and horns are used to make glue and home wares.
Small cottage industry workshops have been making items from buffalo horn for years and Branch's gorgeous buffalo horn collection is produced using these same age-old methods and traditions.
All Branch's production meets Fair Trade standards and they are proud of the low impact this by-product material has on the environment.
