Tania is an Indonesian born bag-maker who has been passionate about all things fashion and bags since she can remember. Tania spent most of her childhood growing up in Japan and Singapore before finally making the leap and moving to London to set up her dream business of crafting leather bags.
Tania’s gorgeous leather designs are stylish, timeless, functional and practical. They're all handmade in the UK from high-quality, environmentally friendly materials. That’s why we’re so excited to share a little bit more about this maker with you all.
We asked Tania to tell us all about her accessories brand and here’s what we learnt!
Can you introduce yourself and your brand?
Tania is a London-based accessories brand founded by myself, Tania Sutedja. I began creating high quality leather accessories in 2014. The brand has since grown from a simple stall in Backyard Market, E1, to today having my studio in Islington, East London.
How would you describe your style?
My signature range of styles are always made from the finest materials, in a range of colours and leathers. This results in a good quality end product that is timeless and adaptable to an ever-changing lifestyle.
What’s important to your brand?
As one of the designers to manufacture exclusively in the UK, I’ve always been proud to promote the made in East London aspect of my brand. I believe that my professional craftmanship gives reliability and integrity to all my products.
All the leather I use is ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) certified, proving the ecological quality of the leathers. It is also certified by the GREEN L.I.F.E project (Green Leather Industry for the environment), financed by the European Commission, where the primary goal is to reduce the environmental impact of the various segments of the tanning sector. This includes lowering consumption of water during the various production phases and the use of raw materials to produce more sustainable fashion.

Also comes with a shorter strap that can be looped around the wrist.
